AMT Matrix fly rod and guides recommendation

I am in the process of getting the materials together to make a special fly rod for my Dad's 80th birthday in Sept. I have decided on a AMT Matrix, 7 1/2' 3 weight. The problem is that AMT doesn't seem to make the recommended guide sizes for that rod. I looked on their web site and they don't make the tip size of that rod and they don't have the holographic guides in the recommended sizes per the chart from ST. Croix (which I found to be a pretty reliable chart).
Has anybody made a Matrix fly rod and what would you recommend for guides and sizes taht would matchor compliment the blank?

Thank you in advance for all they help.

Warren.

I'm currently working on two Matrix fly rods, having already built three others. I haven't built the 7.5' 3 weight and probably won't since I really like the Pac Bay Tradition 7'9" 3 weight. I admit that it isn't easy to figure out what size guides Amtak does make. I find their website confusing in regard to guides. What size and type guides are you looking for? If you're looking for a ceramic tip top in a size 3.5, they are pretty rare. But, I have found significant variation in tip size from what is listed on the website. You can use a size 4 tip top without any real problems.

Pac Bay makes their Illusion (Halo) guides in a 3.5 tip.
