When building your own rod handles what is the best glue to use to glue the cork pieces together? Re: Building Rod Handles

I use rodbond or flexcoat 2 hour epoxy. I have seen posts about titebond 3 and 2 can't tell you anything about them as they don't sell the stuff downunder, I'm sure someone will make a post and fill you in better. Re: Building Rod Handles

I've just switched over to Rod Bond for all of my handle assembly needs, and really like it. Re: Building Rod Handles

For the past couple of years I have been using Weldbond's Universal Adhesive. I like it because it doesn't leave glue lines. It does take at least 24 hours to dry. It is a white glue that looks like Elmer's, water clean-up and available at any home improvement center. It drys clear. I still use Flex Coat epoxy to glue the grip to the blank. I've tried everthing , I end up going back to Rod bond . I wipe on a thin film to each ring , then wipe it off 'till you cant see any on the ring face , but it's still there , and dosen't leave glue lines . JHD Got Fish ? Re: Building Rod Handles
