Hi Guys

Do any of you know where I can purchase empty 1oz thread spools? Recent spring cleaning (in July?) proved I have way too much thread in my library and cant keep it all in my rod room so I am winding some onto spools and need to get some more spools, probably over 100. So if any of you know where they sell these things please give me an idea.

Thanks and back to the cave
Doc

@#$%& - - - run a search on empty thread spools.. I found some there and at Hobby Lobby , Micheal's has some wooden ones... they are a craft type store around here. Check your phone book, see if you have any sewing stores, many times they have classes, they would probably have some... Look under "thread" a lot of times they have classes, and empty spools...

I bought 300 off @#$%& last year. Be careful, there is one guy who sells 200 at a time, from Iowa, but he charges like $20 S&H. If you are patient, you should be able to find 100 empties for around $6 with shipping.

Most hobby shops handle a variety of 1 and 2oz glass bottles.
