Sec. Coat of flexcoat

Can I put a sec. coat of flexcoat on my guides and if so do I need to ruff up the first coat and what can I use tp do that with?

I use three coats of finish on all of my guides. You don't need to scuff it up unless the first coat was done more than a week ago. If you need to scuff it up, use the grey colored scotch-brite pads. Re: Sec. Coat of flexcoat

i read anything more than 48 hours between coats, scuff the first so the second coat adhere's better to the first. i usually apply two coats. at times, if i had some mishap on a guide here or there, i'll add an additional third thin coat to fix it up, make it purdy, generally working with flex coat lite build.
