I called Neal's Fishing and he invited me down to spend some free time with him at his warehouse. He supplies parts for rod builders. He already knew I had bought a blank from someoneelse and probably was not going to buy anything from him. He charges for rod building lessons. He SHOWED me things visually and by demonstration.....things that I couldn't seem understand about the spine via books and bulletin boards. I really understand a lot more now....even though I already thought I did. I didn't even buy anything and had my first rod blank with me I bought from one of his competitors! Thanks Neal. I'll be back.

I will agree with the Kudos for Neal. He is a very nice guy and I have had no problems with doing business with him. He is a gentleman that CARES about his customers and how he does business with them. I also measured and inventoried the EVA grips he sells before he bought them from another of this boards sponsors.
I am not trying to ignore other sponsors of this site. I am just adding my voice to the choir. I also have made purchases from other sponsors of this site and have nothing but good things to say about them as well. Chuck Re: A Plug for a Sponsor - Neal's Fishing
