Can you Straighten a rod blank???

Hi everyone I have question for you all .I have a older St.croix blank its a rod that I'm rewrapping .I had the rod made for me years ago & over time left tension on the line with the rod tip bent while storing the rod now it has permanant bend is there any way to reverse this.Thanks mike In PA Re: Can you Straighten a rod blank???

A graphite rod? No, not really. A glass rod can be bent the opposite way and you may be able to straighten it, for awhile anyway. But not with graphite.
