Wanted: Old Fenwick Surf Rods:

You may want to try calling Tony at Rod Builders Warehouse. No promises, but he's got all kinds of blanks, including some old timers, and he's a super guy to deal with, always going out of his way to help. I'd give him a call. He's listed in the sponsors on the left side of this website.

I already sent you a separate reply via direct e-mail .... I do have at least four (and possibl;y more) old Fenwick surf blanks. I am reasonably certain two of them are SU 1206's and another two are SU 1208's but I have to get home to verify that. They were purchased from Dale Clemmens Custom tackle more than 20 years ago. I built two surf rods on Fenwick blanks and several others on the "English Style" surf blanks with aircraft aluminum butt sections. I liked the Fenwick blanks for their firm tips. I am just getting back into rodbuilding with my retirement from the Chemical industry. I also have a lot of other blanks including some really nice early G. Loomis casting, spinning and fly blanks. Drop me a line if you are still looking for these blanks. We can probably work something out.
