The earlier thread on Dale Clemens got me thinking. Advanced Cusom Rod Building has been my bible for many years. But countless new products have hit the market since it's writing. Are there any new (er) books out there that address rod building with todays components as thoroughly? Just curious.

For all around rod building I think the book Tom did called "The Rod Building Guide" is the very best. It's also the most up to date. But when you come down to it, building a rod with old components and building a rod with up to date components is no different. The steps and the process are still the same. You're just using different components. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
