Gentlemen:

Re Roger's comment: Don't know about fly rods, but the spacing recommendations St. Croix gives for their casting and spinning rods are not what I'd use. Re: St. Croix Legend Elite Guide Spacing

The web site is only a starting point. Use static deflection and test casting to determine ideal spacing. The first stripper guide will determine how all the other guides fall into place. Re: St. Croix Legend Elite Guide Spacing
