St. Croix Legend Elite Guide Spacing

Gentlemen:
Just plunked down some seroius change on a 8 1/2' 4wt blank.
Hoping some of you have built one of these and can reccomend
guide spacing.

Re Roger's comment: Don't know about fly rods, but the spacing recommendations St. Croix gives for their casting and spinning rods are not what I'd use.

The web site is only a starting point. Use static deflection and test casting to determine ideal spacing. The first stripper guide will determine how all the other guides fall into place.
