Just received the first issue of my subscription..Nice. Was looking through the indices to find what back issues I might want to purchase. Way confused now!
Two subjects I want to get the low down on. 1) Guide sizeing, selection, and spaceing. 2) spiral wraps. What issues might I want to get to cover those two topics? I was going to email Tom with these questions, but thought other beginners might be interested in the same thing. Oh, one more...the epoxy mixer is in V6#3 right? AQlan,
V#6,#4 has the motorized epoxy mixer. In the Library section above ia an index that will help you select back issues. V#6,#5 has a good general spiral wrap article, but there are more in depth articles in the back issues on each of the methods mentioned there. Just depends how far you want to go into it. Beginners who wish to set up a quick and easy spiral wrap system that works extremely well would be best off with the Volume 8 #2 issue. That one has Bill Colby's Simple Spiral article.
There have been a ton of articles on guide sizing, spacing, etc., so you'd just have to search the index and pick and choose the ones you'd like. Most are still in stock, although about a half dozen have sold out this past year. ......... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
