I have a brand new blank with the manufacturer's writing on it (no label used or sealer used over the witing). How can I safely remove the info without ruining the finish on the blank? I will eventually put a name on the rod.
Thanks Re: Signature Removal

I'd just wrap over it, glass it, re-sign it, then glass it again. Re: Signature Removal

HI RUSS,
A belt sander with 80 grit will take all the windings, decals, and signatures off no problem. I do it all the time Dave von Doehren PRRODS......If man built it , man can fix it.and if man built it man can break it ! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
