Putter,
As per the instructions you have given on this board, I tried my hand at marbelizing. I already had an assortment of Testors paints which I use for painting popper flies. My first attempt was on a wooden dowel. I laid down a base coat using Flex Coat High Build epoxy and Testor's color red #1103 and marbeled with color yellow #1114. I am surprised that it actually looks good. I am going to call that scheme the "galazy on fire." For one that sells rods, you could do several patterns on a dowel, put trim bands on each end and saw the segments and keep them as samples for your customers. Thanks again Putter. Hey, this retirement isn't bad after all. Next project, learning to inlay feathers. Cheers, Ellis Re: Marbelizing----Thanks Putter

Weaving, marbelizing, feathers - - - - ,etc. Popping rods with all the whizmos of todays rodbuilers are quite a sight. Maybe simple counterfitting of $ 20 bills would also be a challenging operation for retirees with time on their hands. If you head off in that direction use the engraving process with casting plates - computers and high resolution printers make it too easy.

Don't ya know that all ya do is take the sheet that you printed the face on and reinsert it into your printer upside down and print the back on the back side of the first print !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! End of course on "Counterfitting 101"
