can't find this guide

A guy brought me a rod to replace a guide on but I can't find this type of guide anywhere. It is a black frame single foot spinning guide and it looks to have a very thin and flat stainless steel or aluminum ring in it. It came on a Berkly rod. Anybody know where to get a guide to replace it?

Thanks,
Steve

Sounds like the old Daiwa Dynaflow or similar. Not likely you'll find one for sale anywhere. Either hunt yard sales for broken rods with that type guide, or sell the customer a standard single foot ceramic.

Neal's Fishing Products is the only place I can think of that might have a guide like that. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to call him and ask.

Go to Jann's on the left colum. They carry that guide. When you select rod building and guides, look under the single foot guides.
