Can someone tell me if Falcon makes there own blanks and if they are available?
If not, who makes one comparable in tip action and power?.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, Falcon is located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, just south of Oklahoma City.
They do make their own blanks. And they have their own web site. Gary

I'd look at the Shikari blanks, heard the rumor more than once that they make the blanks, but that doesn't mean that they are built on the same mandrels.

Go to the Broken Arrow Location - wait until the rods are delivered - follow the truck back to Arkansas - lay in wait - tell them price is not the problem - ask for some blanks - go home empty handed!

I would love to get ahold of one of their 9.5' 5-wt fly blanks. I bought a finished rod from them built on that blank. Let's just say that I was less than pleased with the quality and workmanship (workpersonship?), but the action was what I wanted.
