Simple, but I forget. You can NOT put Permagloss on top of epoxy , but CAN put epoxy on Permagloss. Which is correct ? if it even matters.
Thanx.

David, you can put either over the other. I use permagloss to seal underwraps before overwrapping them, and to seal thread if I'm not using CP to drive out air and make overwrapping a bit easier, before finishing with high build.

Ed, I use PG over epoxy because I like a heavy coat of finish before i put on decals, and like to coat them with PG because it's thin. I like the look better than decals being under a thick coat, plus I don't like to mix a batch of epoxy just to cover a small section, or to cover up where I have to shave an errant thread poker. It got to where I just naturally coat over all wraps now. Philosophy being that PG is much tougher, so it's like putting a very protective finish over my finish.

Don't know if it actually does anything or not, but it makes me feel better.
