I love my Dan Craft rods, but not the matte gray color. I am also not keen to paint the blank myself, though I have seen the posts on this subject. Does anyone offer this service? I could try the local car painting place as a last resort. I am most interested in a bamboo/beige color. Re: Anyone out there custom paint blanks?

There were several posts that some one uses an auto shop and gets his done - cheap
Ask a few in your area. Remember the least amount of material the better - less weight Re: Anyone out there custom paint blanks?

If you live near me in NJ, an auto body shop will run you about 100 dollars. After telling them where to put their spray guns, I painted it myself. Not hard at all Re: Anyone out there custom paint blanks?

I use this stuff. Two dust coats, just enough to cover the blank then one or two coats of clear. Spar urathane is easy to use. [www.plasti-kote.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
