Merrick Colored Sleeve Butts

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Merrick Tackles Colored Sleeve Butts.

Specifically, I am wondering how durable the colored coating is on them. Anyone? Anyone?

I have not personally seen one, but I would assume the color is molded in, not painted or coated on.

In their catalog description, it says "Note: For colored sleeve buts the durable color is applied over the standard sleeve butt." This implies just the opposite, which is why I posted my question.

The customer service rep that I talked to couldn't really tell me much about them. So I was wondering if anyone had experience with them.

Might just have to try them for myself and see.

Erik,

I was looking at those things myself, as well as their shrink wrap, and flocked shrink wrap stuff. Let me know if it works for you please.

Thanks for letting me know. I hadn't seen them. You might call the folks at Summer Moon - they would also sell them and might have some first hand experience with them.
