I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Merrick Tackles Colored Sleeve Butts.
Specifically, I am wondering how durable the colored coating is on them. Anyone? Anyone? Erik Re: Merrick Colored Sleeve Butts

I have not personally seen one, but I would assume the color is molded in, not painted or coated on.

In their catalog description, it says "Note: For colored sleeve buts the durable color is applied over the standard sleeve butt." This implies just the opposite, which is why I posted my question.
The customer service rep that I talked to couldn't really tell me much about them. So I was wondering if anyone had experience with them. Might just have to try them for myself and see. Erik Re: Merrick Colored Sleeve Butts

Erik,
I was looking at those things myself, as well as their shrink wrap, and flocked shrink wrap stuff. Let me know if it works for you please. Derek dsrtegl2004atearthlinkdotnet Re: Merrick Colored Sleeve Butts

Thanks for letting me know. I hadn't seen them. You might call the folks at Summer Moon - they would also sell them and might have some first hand experience with them.
