Texas Holdem Rod

Michael Joyce posted a picture labeld Texas Hold 'em on the photo board. That picture has inspired an idea. How hard would it be to get some of the highend poker chips that are checkered on the outside edge, drill the centers out, fill them back with cork (for weight reduction) and incorporated them into a themed fly rod grip?

Who is going to get started on that one? If noone, I may just go that route with the 11'6" 4PC Forecast Spey Rod that I'll be working on when H&H gets them.

Mr. Joergenson (sp?)-- this seems right up your alley!

Another idea - what about the plastic chips. heating and bending so they can be inleted into the handle ? This way you could see the whole chip. Just a thought. Decals or a playing card weave ?
