The place I used to get parts from seems to have disappeared. Needing a pawl for an Ambassador reel. Anyone point me to a dealer I can get parts from?
Sorry for the off topic post but thought I'd try here. Chased Google searches all over the place and haven't had any luck. Re: Off Topic - Reel Parts

Where do you live? If you have an Academy Sports and Outdoors Store nearby they have a few of the most popular parts. If you are in Houston Fishing Tackle has probably any part you may need. If you want to order off the internet log on to www.mikesreelrepair.com. If you live south of Houston I have what you need.

Thanks Pat. I'm in southeastern Iowa -- a long ways from anywhere I'm afraid. I'll check mikesreelrepair.com . Tried e-mailing you but your address is hidden.
Thanks again, N.T. Re: Off Topic - Reel Parts

Neil,
Using the Tackleworks site to the left you may find a place in a bordering state if not your own. If not Ollie Damon's in Portland OR. will have what you want. www.olliedamons.com. Re: Off Topic - Reel Parts

Thanks kindly for all the suggestions. I've saved all the phone numbers and web sites so this won't happen to me again.
Thanks again, N.T. Re: Off Topic - Reel Parts
