Just received Tom's book and Ken's DVD and they are great. I'm a new want to be rod builder and those two items sure answered a lot of question that I had. Again thanks and I think I'm going to proceed with building my first rod

Doug and Eric offer sound advice and guidance but you can tell that Ellis' years have resulted in great wisdom. There's no turning back for Terry so may as well just get 'er done. This one will be the first of many so no point waiting. Just do the best you can and build it. Things that don't turn out perfectly, you can gradually correct on the next 100 rods you build. Have fun.
