Thread Colors for Cobalt Blue St. Croix SCIVs

Finally about to roll a couple of the new St. Croix SCIV blanks in the cobalt blue color, and I was just wondering what thread color combos anyone has used and liked. I haven't decided if I'll go subtle or flashy with the thread, so I'm open to all suggestions. I'm using a TN handle and Fuji SIC guides - gunsmoke color. Thanks in advance for all replies, and thank you Tom Kirkman for such a wonderful board!

A perfect combination for CObalt Blue blank and Gunsmoke guides is Blue dun thread, with or without metallic trim (black, white, silver).-

Pewter trim may also look good with the gunsmoke guides. Garnet would also go good as a wrap.

Cobalt thread no CP with silver or gold trim. Don't over do the trim.

I wrapped one with Garnet and metallic gold trim but I used the Am. Tac. blue frame w/ gold ceramic insert guides. I think it looks very nice. Not flashy by any means but still offers a little contrast. If I was starting over again I would use the same color scheme.

Agree- cobalt blue with no CP and a single or double (inlaid) silver trim (with a silver guide). Looks very sharp.

I just finished wrapping a 4S70MLF; I used the Sulky Blue Metallic with the Sulky Metallic Silver trim. The guides are the Fuji chrome frame alconites. The rod looks pretty nice.
