Yes Gary, it was done with the Wonder Weaver. That however is not an excuse because you could do the same thing with another type of weaving jig. The difference here is in the pattern and how it is developed not the tool. So get with it , we need the help to push the envelope.

Since seeing that incredible weave, I've been searching with Google (Image Search) to see if there's anything even remotely similar being done by thread artists in non-rodbuilding fields. Not a thing, so far, and I'm beginning to suspect there simply may not be. Jim: If you have it, could you post a higher resolution pic, so we could enlarge it in an image viewer to get a better look at the weaving details? Re: Something EVERYONE should see

Tom; One of the nice things about a slightly out of focus picture is that you can't see the mistakes. I will try but can't promise anything. I'm not proficient with photo shop.

Make sure you insure it for $2000. It's worth that at least plus Billy might not send it back! Re: Something EVERYONE should see

Wow that is some awesome work. The more I even look at it, I think it is going to come alive. I have yet to get into or finding the time to get into weaving but maybe when I get a new shop and have the room to bring the whole operation in one location then just maybe I can try the weaving. Anyway very good work Jim. I think my problem would be that I might go blind doing the weaving... LOL
