I finally received my order of Titan Guides and a Vetre grip. I am very impressed with both. The guides are light, very light, this was immediately apparent when I handled the ziploc baggie full of 9 spinning guides. The quiality on mine seemed excellent, can't wait to wrap them up.

The grip is also very impressive. I wasn't sure how it all worked based on the photos, but now that I have it I see just how simple and effective this design is. Super easy installation and very solid feel. I can see using more of these in the future. Great job.

One thing I would like to see is a smaller size in the Vetre seat. I believe the on I have is based on a size 18 seat, and I'd love to see a 16 come along down the rod. I know these things take time, but just thought I'd mention it.

Again Great Job American Tackle!!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the good word! We really appreciate you taking the time to express your satisfaction with our products.....................it’s the people that express their dissatisfaction we don't appreciate.......................haha.

The seat I believe was based on a 16 mm sample. The ID does measure 18 mm but I'm sure we sent over a 16 mm proto type. I'll have to check with Darrin but I'm pretty sure that is what happened.

The handle was designed and patented by Bruce Vetre. Darrin put the deal together after we all got a look at it. We thought it was a fantastic idea. We are always looking for new and innovative ideas and this fit into our line perfectly.

Warmest regards Joe Meehan, American Tackle.
