Grain weight of different guides. Here is my result

I have weighted several guides today. The weight is accurate to +- 0.1grain.
Fuji guides: Tlsg-7 3.1, tsg-7 3.0, tlsg-8 3.9, tlsg-10 6.3, Tfst75 5.9,tlns-16 17.6nTlnsg 10.01. Alconite concept guides: 8mm 5.7 grain, BFAT85 9,5.Clag12 14.2 grain Normal sized recoil top 3,0. Average snake top 8-9 grain. Snake guides from 3.4. to 4.5 grain. Amtacks titanium guides: Stripper16 mm 17.4 grain, 12 mm stripper 10. 7 mm single leg titanium fly 3.6 grain. NHT85 top 9.7 grain. And from Dan Craft ( Ido not know the brand) 7mm blue zirconia 4.4 grain. Titanium coated single leg SIC flyguide 8mm 6.4 grain. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 04/15/2005 03:48PM by Terje bendiksby. Ordinary snakes . I have some snakes that are evenheavier . Recoil in size 4 "heavy " wire ( or saltwater) 1.8 grain. I managed to get a set of your titan flyguides while I was in Florida in March. Like them, have not decided on which rod I am going to put them on. But definetely one that is coming with me to Florida next April.
