anyone know where i can purchase red guides? not the ruby ones, please . . . they are what one would call "a bit spendy". i think we're talkin' "arm and a leg" pricing on those puppies. i'm also looking for green guides. a wholesale outfit (to buy from) is preferred (of course).

Mud Hole has Red & Green framed guides. You'll see them right on their home page.

Hi all, just a note about me reply in this thread. I was just running out of my office and fired off the reply, and the exclamation mark might have come across as yelling, but I actually meant it as excitement because I've been waiting for some red guides for a long time. I've ordered some too.

I don't want Jay to think I was yelling at him. Sorry.

Jay, so you are looking for Red ringed guides? Ceramic or Agatine (fake agate)?

If you are looking for red and green agatine ringed guides for fly rods, then Goldenwitch can likely help you out. In ceramic ringed guides, I've never seen red or green rings, only frames.
