Question to Bill Batson

I've recently purchased a couple of US-made Rainshadow RX7 IST1081 blanks that were on sale at Bingham Enterprises (and, of course, thanks to Karen for the great service :-) )...

I'm quite familiar with RX7 blanks manufactured at Cascade Composites, but these two look a bit differently. They have quite matte grey finish, not a-bit-glossy one I used to see on RX7's...

Just a matter of curiousity: are these blanks from Cascade as well, or were made at diffent factory?

P.S. Also, the blanks are marked in slightly different manner. They bear the stickers with the model number only on the butt and a bigger sticker with Rainshadow logo and "made in USA" on the packing bag.

Moscow, RU

Pavel,
That's the way I received my non-olive green RX7 blanks. They were all Cascade Composite built blanks.

Thanks for reply Spencer. Apart from 1081 model I also used to order ISP781 blanks from Bingham. And I saw a lot of non-green RX7 here, in Moscow.

These pair of 1081 do have a somewhat different finish, that's why I asked the question

Pavel,
Those could have been from our previous US manufacturer, before Cascade. I am sure they are Rainshadow Blanks as Bingham is an Authorized distributor. I am sure happy now that our new vendor is much more consistant than any of our previous vendors. Thank you for supporting our Rainshadow/Forecast Program.

Thank you, Bill

It was no doubt for me that those blanks are Rainshadows, just was a bit curious because of their different finish...

Once again, thanks for the explanation

Respectively,

Pavel,
