Wrap question

On my first prodject I found that on some of the wraps the first winding of thread would unravel. I could burnish it back in and finishing was no problem. Just bugged me. Was I wraping tight enough? Thanks Tom Re: Wrap question

Hi Tom,
I think you answered your own question. If you were wrapping left to right , are you starting with your thread over to the right enough and spiriling over to your start position? this gives some distance for the thread to tighten up by the time you overlap for the start, then when youv'e got everthing tight you can trim that extra thread off. just one thought , kinda hard for me to put in to words.
