I hope to finish a 9' 4wt 2pc this weekend. First impressions: Super light weight. A larger diameter than what you might normally find (24/64ths on the 4wt), but not as large as the Perigee blanks (at least from what I recall). Beautiful dark red color. Dead straight. Great fit to the ferrules. Very powerful butt section. I'm expecting it to cast as smoothly as the Perigee blanks, but with more power. I can't wait to string it up. I own a 10 ft 5 wt 3 pc and a 9 1/2 ft 7 wt 3 pc, they are some fine rods. flyanglersonline.com did a product review on a 9 ft 8 wt 2 pc I believe, they liked it also, it would be in the product review archives, they do a good job of discribing the rods they test and if they didn't like a product they don't waste your time or their's writing about it. Not sure why this company don't have a better rep in fly blanks/rods they make some fine blanks. Some of my all time favorite blanks are made by them, but sadly many are going out of production.
