Just to let everyone out there know about a positive experience--

I ordered quite a few components from John L. at Rocky Mountain about two weeks ago and have nothing but good things to say about the service and products I received from them.

John is extremely quick in responding to questions and quite knowledgable to boot! His shipping department provided top-notch packing and same-day turnaround as they received the components from Batson. Some of the products were backordered but they kept me well-informed as to exactly what would be coming and when.

I saw the thread above about Bob @ Custom Tackle (who also seems to be a good guy...bought an AmTak Matrix from him at Charlotte), and figured I'd at least chime in with another good recommendation!

Hey--thanks, Scott! It's been (and is continuing to be) a pleasure supplying your fly blank and component needs! We made a fundamental change in direction this winter by opening a US-based warehouse in Virginia, and also the decision for myself to play a larger role in working more directly with our customers, which I love doing! :) Too many hours in front of the lathe can get a little stale, even if you love this craft as much as I do...I'm really pleased to be able to dialogue with fellow builders like yourself more now.

Anyway, thanks again--sincerely.

With appreciation,
