I'm on my second rod building adventure, and I ordered some black, and metallic black Rice thread in size D (for guide wraps over size A gold). WOW! I really like this stuff. My question is, do you guy's feel that this thread is better than Gudebrod, and why. I've been using gudebrod exclusively so far, but I think I'm going to switch. The Rice thread seems to be better quality, and easier to wrap. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/01/2005 06:57AM by Bruce Wetzel. Re: Rice thread question

I tried some Rice thread on the advice of Robert at Fishsticks. My experience with Rice metallic is that it doesn't tend to fray as easily as Gudebrod. I like the RIce metallic a lot better than Gudebord. Re: Rice thread question
