Weaving Jig setup

I just received a great pictorial guide to setting up a weaving jig from Doc Ski (He knew that my pea brain needed picyures!). He gave me permission to share it with anyone that wants it! I will e-mail it to anyone that E-MAILS me requesting it. Please don't tie up space on the board by requesting it here

Hey Mike,

Would you be so kind as to send me that info? Did you get his DVD?

Mike,
That just shows you what a great guy Doc is. I know of someone that does some great weaves and is in the same ball park as Doc. For years I tried to get him to explain the process to me, not to teach me but kinda give me an idea how it is done. I never got any help from him even if I paid for his time. He said it was a trade secret. The old RodCrafters Journal had an article on how to make a loom and where you could buy some cheap patterns. Then I heard about Doc and ordered his video. I am now just getting enough free time to really concentrate on weaving and making my own patterns, thanks to Jim Upton's help. There are some fellows that love to teach and then there are those that won't give you the time of day.
Cheers, Ellis

He's one of the best! No secrets for him. Great Guy. I hope I have him convinced to come to Charlotte next year

If you talk him into visiting, make sure he brings his display of weaves and butt wraps. you'll spend hours looking at all them, an amazing display of thread art, must be at least 100 pieces of blank each with a weave or butt wrap. Most generous chap he is.....

Gotta chime in on this one; Doc is one of the most giving people I've met here. He's always willing to lend help with his years of experience and of his time. I sure hope that I get to meet him in Charlotte next year! How's the wiring project going, Doc??
