Is REC no longer a sponsor?

Is REC no longer a sponsor of this website? I've been waiting for some components from them and was going to contact them but they're a no show on the left.

They are no longer sponsors here. I do not solicit sponsors nor do I ask why when or if they drop off the list. REC's year just ran out. They did not renew.

On the topic, I talked to Brad at BC Distributing. He says they're too busy and he doesn't like doing things half way. He wanted to take a few hours of each day if he was to be a sponsor here and do it right, but time doesn't allow him to. That was his reason for letting his lapse. He loves the site and all; just no time to devote to it the way he felt he'd need to.

Being a sponsor doesn't really require "doing" anything. You just have your named added to the list and collect the 1,000 or so additional click-throughs that you get from this site each month. But again, I never solicit sponsors and don't ask why any might not renew. Very few fail to renew, however. In 3 years I think only 5 or 6 have dropped off the list of some 65 or so.

Speaking of sponsors: Why does Richard's Rod and Reel show up twice on the sponsor list? I know he's an enthusiastic guy, but...

I only show him once on the list. A few were moved around last week to accomodate a new sponsor (Bellinger) and you could be seeing an older cache file. I'm not really sure.

Hmm... Closed and openned the site, and he's now there only once. At least he's there.
