Shelf life

I was wondering what the shelf life is for flex coat high build. I have about three quarters left in each bottle. The bottles have yorker caps that snap on. Thanks Tom

I've had the same bottles of rod finish for over 15 years; had to nuke the hardener a few times (or was it the resin?) because it honeycombed on me. I think it'll last a long, long time.

There is no appreciable shelf life. The stuff will remain good far longer than you will.

i have always been nervous to use older flex coat to finish wraps, i usually use it to glue grips, but you guys are saying it is fine?

when flex coat crystalizes in the container is heating it your best option?
and if so...what is the best method to heat is up....

You can put the container in really hot water until it liquifies or you can "nuke" it in short, 10 second bursts until the same thing happens. I've always nuked it in my wife's microwave, but I just like to watch her squirm, too. :>) Be sure and leave the container open so there's no pressure build up...
