I'm looking for a cork fly grip that has slide rings for the reel. I want to make this rod as light as possible and don't want a separate reel seat. Does anyone know where I can get what I'm looking for? Does this exist?

Jann's Netcraft has it, under handle kits, I think. Re: Light as Possible

They do have it. Good to know it exists. Are there any other places that carry it? Just curious.

Cortland will sell you a cork seat and ring set or cap and ring. You would need the grip. The absolute lightest is a kork-a-lon ice fishing handle from Janns, turned down at one end to make a seat and a couple of aluminum winding checks for rings. My D.C. Sig III weighs 1 oz. even in this configuration. Re: Light as Possible
