Another Dancraft ?? for Dan or John

After some discussion here and some R&D on Stripers on the fly I decided to go with Dans 9' 10wt FT. My question is to Dan C or John L. Have you already performed a static test on this blank and if so would give me the spacing to save me the time? Any recommendations like the type of guides, number of guides, reel seat (less then $100 for seat) and grips would also be helpful. Build it like you were going after 20 to 50# stripers. John L. I will put my order in today for the blank. Thanks in advance!

Hi Mike! I have NOT done a static test on this baby 'cause I've not had the opportunity to build one up...YET!! Our Canadian order is supposedly clearing customs tomorrow, and if I have the time I'll mock one up for you and let you know what I find out! :) One way or the other, I'm happy to let you know what I discover from the blanks I receive, but please remember that every blank is a unique animal and even within a model/series there can be a surprising variance (though I've noticed less variance with Dan's awesome blanks than many others).

Anyway, we appreciate your business and are happy to provide this sort of thing.

All the best,
