My Madeira measurement for my butt wraps is between 4.1 -4.15 per mm. THat is not revolutions around the blank, it is for butt wraps - I take the total # of threads I used in the pattern, and divide by the center circumference. This probably does no good for the above measurements. Re: Thread Diameters in Inches

I have contacted Madeira directly in hopes of getting the info but I have not heard from them yet so there are a few holes in the matrix still. Those wanting a copy can e-mail me direct at dsrtegl2004@earthlink.net and I will send it to everyone concerned by email when it is done.
BTW....Experimented with Madeira 12WT COTTON thread over the weekend with very interesting results. I know it isn't Gudebrod nylon, or poly, or rayon, or silk, but I was given a whole tackle box full of old thread, and since it was free......... Derek Re: Thread Diameters in Inches

Hold onto your pocket books guys, just found out that Madeira has some threads in
15wt 20wt 30wt 35wt 50wt 60wt Waiting to hear from the manufacturer still as to their diameter but they have glow in the dark threads in 50wt, metallics in 15wt, 35wt, and 50wt, astros in 20wt. I"M SCREWED!! Derek Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
