I just purchased a couple of those pink rod blanks from Mud Hole, to make a couple "girl" rods, does anybody have any suggestions on handles for them, they have a pretty big butt diameter it looks like for cork. ?

Try either wrapped cork tape or wrapped nylon cord for the butt. I'm just finishing the black version of your blank as a short surf rod. I used black nylon cord for wrapping the butt, and black hypalon for the foregrip. The hypalon isn't much greater in diameter than the blank, so the reaming was a little touchy, but it looks and feels pretty good. With the larger diameter blank, the nylon wrap ends up with a comfortable size grip.
