Hi Gang.

I broke down and purchased Flex Coat arbors. I know they can be used as 1 piece or cut into smaller pieces and used that way. I would like to find out what you guys do. Do you leave them full (1piece) or do you cut them and put them on like masking tape arbors?

Thanks in Advance

They're so light and so inexpensive, I'm not sure that cutting them into shorter sections is really economical.

I would not want to trust 5 MIN use rod bond. Take the extra time

I pre glue the full length of them into my reel seats with rod bond, then when I need the reel seat just pilot drill it then a few twists with the reamer all done, saves the extra time at the construction stage.

The way Myles does it is the way Roger at FlexCoat showed me how he intended the product to be used. Get ALL your reel seats, mix up a big batch of epoxy, and glue ALL the arbors in at the same time. When you need a reel seat, drill/ream whatever.
