Re-kindle an old flame

I haven't built a rod in a while so when I finished this last one , all I have to say how much I love LS Hi-Build. You just goop it on make sure its a little past the edges and in one coat you get complete flat coverage. I never have found an easier to use finish. Not to mention I have some rods finished with LS regular that are two years old (I'm a tourney fisher guy so my rods are in the sun three days a week 8 hrs a day minimum from Apr-Oct.) and they are clear as the day I applied it. So if the new stuff is as good as the orig. I don't see how there could be any competition. I've used two "other" brands and one yellowed signifigantly in one year. I'm pretty sure I'll only get people who agree with me on this one. By the way any other northerners dying to do a little bass fishing, here in northern IL all you get are the crowded power plant lakes, but I have a tourny on one shortly so I better pull up my panties and just brave the cold. Tight Lines, Bryan.

I fish a fair share of tournaments as well and cant wait till aprils "Spring Fling" on Lake WI. Usually over 100 boats enter. I've been calming my nerves here in WI by Walleye fishing below the Sauk Prairie dam. Bryan do you fish in Madison at all?

I've got three tourneys on the Chain this year. It'll be my first year fishing these waters. All winter i've been studying historic water temps, and lake maps, and getting a clue on clarity on all the lakes. I'm really excited, I've looked at the weights it takes win there and the Madison chain seems to produce a bunch of 20lb.+ sacks. I bet a few of the tourneys I fish this year will have some huge weights compared to the Classic in Pitt. this year. That's a joke putting 50 of the best anglers of the world in one the most difficult fisheries in the world.
