Thread colors for SCV

Just picked up one of these blanks, and I'm extremely impressed with the "brown pearlescence" finish. However, I'm having fits finding a good thread for the blank. What are your thoughts?

Andrew,
St. Croix actually has a thread to match they call 10882 Elite Brown, but you could also get away with using Gudebrod 5274 Chestnut. Maybe a gold trim? If you want to play down on metallic, go with something like olde gold.
I love the brown pearlescence color of this blank, too.

I like HT Metallic Pewter for accent, and have used #441 Charcoal and #206 Garnet on these blanks, as well as brown.

The HT Metallic Pewter is good for trim, like Dan says. It's very understated, if that's what you want. One step up from that but still subdued is HT Metallic Bronze, also a good match for the new SCV.

I just finish one and it turn out great, for the guide I used chestnut with gold metalic trim, for diamond but wrap I started the middle with dark brown, then gold metaliic, then chestnut , followd with gold again, then tan finished with more gold, the reel hoods also were gold, it really turned out nice. Also I did use CP on all wraps.
