Has anyone tried pilot markers for rod signitures? I'm trying to figure out the best/easiest way to sign rods. Thanks Tom.

Tom,

I just finished my first inscription and all worked out nicely. I bought a "Pentel Hybrid roller" -gel pen at a normal hobby/bookstore. I let the ink dry for an half'n hour and then applied Dura gloss, it didn't smear at all!
Good luck!
Hans

Yes, I did. They work great. Let ink dry for two days before coating, just for better results.

Tom,

I applied Dura Gloss LS Supreme with a brush, just like finishing thread wraps.
