Calstar Tan Blanks

Does anybody have any pictures of a tan Calstar blank? I'm looking for the old vintage Fenwick look, and was wondering if this color would fit the bill.
Thanks,

-Phlilip

Dear Philip:

The best way to describe the color of these blanks would be to say that they are
a slightly darker shade of those Lamiglas Honey-colored e glass blanks, which
have been on the market for many years.
The Calstar e glass blanks have a heavy wall construction, and therefore, they are not the lightest weighing blanks in the world. On the other hand, they have a particularly rugged, almost unbreakable feel to them. I personally use one of the #500 blanks for Blues and Stripers as well as Blackfish/Seabass here on the East Coast. It has a somewhat soft, yielding tip action, but
at the same time has lots of lifting power built into its midsection. It is one of my favorites, and needless to say, this one gets alot of use during the season.

They are not a dark, Chestnut Brown, in case this is the blank you are looking for.

Thanks! I think I'll go with a Calstar.
