I just wanted to add my 2 cents to the comments on Charlotte!! It was my first time at anything like this and I wasn't to sure of what to expect. I was absolutely blown away!!!!! I now know for certain that rodbuilders are the greatest, friendliest and most information sharing people in the world. The best part was putting faces with all of the names that I have been seeing on this board,

I really hate to mention names as everyone was so great, but I have to single out Tom K., Andy & Emily Dear (He definitely got the best of that deal, she's fantastic!!), Ray & Gabe Jorgensen, the "Living Legend" Ralph O'Quinn , Putter and the inimitable Ken Preston. I mention these because of the great dinner and countless beverages we shared Sunday night (causing me to miss my morning flight). I met so many great people, saw so many great products and sent sooooo much more money than I had intended.......

I really hope that the next occupants of Room 507 in the Westin really appreciate all of the beautiful marble lamps (and telephone) that they now have!!!
Any of you that have ANY doubts that the show is worth the travel costs, IT IS!! I came from Michigan and just started another "Piggy Bank" to get ready for 2006!

Hey Mike,
I really hope Andy did well at the show and sold a lot of products. I plan to ask him but I am going to give him time to relax from the trip. I didn't make it to the show this year but I plan to go next year. Andy is genuine, what you see is what you get and I consider him one of the nicest persons I have ever met.
Cheers, Ellis

That's because you haven't met his gracious, charming wife.... He has someone to live up to.

Just a great, great show. It really did live up to its billing. Nothing else like it. Let's do it again next year.

Rooming and spending quality time with Mike made this show out to be way better than it would've without him!! I can't tell you how much fun it was to go over everything that we saw and did each evening! What a great show; Ken Preston I can't thank you enough-Maryland is lucky to have you in the state!!
