Just in for a bit from the show set up. The amount of product is simply mind boggling! Words can't convey the tens of thousands of blanks, seats, grips, guides, tools, etc. As good as last year's show was, this year's event will simply blow it away. Absolutely incredible.

Yeah, for real, Doug!

I have never built a rod before (which I'll be able to claim for another 10 days, so I'll milk it 'til then) and I only first posted to this site Thursday.... But I sure hope there's a West Coast show next year (or that "the" show is in Portland or at least under 12 hours' driving distance from San Francisco!).

I'm sure the show offers a wealth of ideas and info about new products that I'd love to learn about. I wish someone would make a 2-hour DVD tour of the show, with some useful clips of particularly valuable seminars, and info about noteable new products with video footage photos vendor/cost information. I'd pay $20 for this substitute, since I can't be there!

Thanks at least for this board and for Tom and other organizers' and participants' hard work to make the show so great (even if I can't go!). The tips and info wiil trickle down in typeface here, I'm sure.

Can't wait to learn more.

Hope all you lucky *@&%!* (folks) there have fun and learn some neat new stuff (that you can tell us about)!

Hehe thanks.

Tom said in another post that they have one planned on the west coast next year. Doesn't help you now though.

Something to look forward to a year in advance isn't all bad!

In fact, it's more good than bad. The older ya get, the faster time goes. Now I have something that'll slow it down a bit.

Thanks for the heads up!

Craig
