scratched blank

I scratched the blank as I was fitting the cork handle to the rod (one of the pieces of the reamer i was using was stuck inside the cork and i didnt know till it was to late). It is a pretty nasty scratch. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing it or at least making it less noticable. It is going to be such a nice rod I am @#$%& that I scratched it already. Thank You!

Get rid of that reamer!! It will happen again. Get the tape from say Mud Hole and use that, it does not come off

I had a nasty scratch I colored with testors, then epoxied over. Couldn't see it. Hope the scratch is not too long.

I am using a Gatti 8'6" 3 wt. The scratch is not all that long it just kind of twists around the blank. It is probably half way up the butt section of the blank. Thanks

Hide it behind some decorative wrap, decal, or a feather.
