The doors are open at Rocky Mountain!

Hi all! Just wanted to let you know we've spent the last number of months working through all our logistics issues and have officially opened our doors at The Rocky Mountain Rodbuilding Supply Co. We now have a complete online store, toll-free number for added convenience (1-866-FLY-RODS), and are in the process of establishing a US-based warehouse for our fellow rodbuilders south of the Cdn border (read: no international shipping and customs/duties fees and next-day shipping!). :D

We'd love for you to drop by our e-store and let us know what you think! Be sure to click the "compare our blanks" tab to see a complete list (with the exception of our CF Burkheimer blanks) of all our blanks along with blank wt, tip/butt size, etc. The list is sortable by any heading such as line wt, number of sections, and so on. Or, of course, our store has a robust search components as well.

We'll be adding a number of products over the next couple weeks including our complete line of adhesives and finishes, threads, and a number of tools for the rodbuilders workbench, but there's enough there now to keep you occupied while enjoying a good cup o' java! :)

Anyway, just wanted to let you know we're finally open for business and would be honored to become your source for the finest in fly rod blanks and components.

Thanks in advance for your interest and all the best in your rodbuilding ventures,

Are the prices on your site in Canadian or US dollars?

Hi Gerry! Both--kind of! ;) There's a "Change Currency" box at the bottom left of all the store pages...the default is in US dollars, and when you switch to Cdn it lists the price in US with the current Cdn equivalent in parenthesis just below it.

One thing we haven't figured out how to communicate on the store is package pricing, etc. We do offer discounts on orders including a blank, grip, reel seat and guides, but you'll need to contact us via email or phone first so we can set up your "account" and apply the appropriate discounts. Incidentally, we also offer volume and wholesale pricing for those who build a large qty of rods per year or build professionally.

Anyway, thanks for the inquiry!
