Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of an online source for buying small quantities of various sizes of Nickle Silver bar stock and tubing for making my own reel seat hardware?

Thanks

Mark

i've seen such offerings on @#$%& (i think). check out these specific items if you don't find a better lead. got to @#$%&.com and in the search window, type in these item numbers one by one:

7136573543
7136577151
and finally 7136911880 . this last seller, nemo3516, offers quite a few interesting odds and ends from golden witch.

Thanks guys,

It looks like they use the stuff Robert Venneri sells on his website. I'm hoping to find a different supplier so the stuff doesn't go through half a dozen people paying for shipping, and trying to make a tiny profit before I buy it. I'm actualy looking to build several sets of reel seat hardware so I'd like to keep my cost down as much as possible.

Thanks Again

Mark

Try looking for jeweler's supply houses. I used to live in Denver and there was a place in northwest Denver that sold all kinds of stuff for making jewelry. I spent a lot of money there in a former life. They also sold lapidary equipment so they may be listed in the yellow pages under that heading.

Hey Gerry,

Are you talking about Maroon Bells? If so I may have to stop in there. It's been a while since I've done any jewelry work.

Mark,

Try this place: [www.sheffieldsupply.com]. I've bought most of my nickle silver bar stock from them in the past. There's another place on line that will be carrying the same and bigger sizes in the near future: [www.onlinemetals.com]. I sent them an email not too long ago asking them if they were going to carry the NS rod and tubing, since they already carry the NS sheet, and they said they were planning on carrying it in the not too distant future.

Thanks Mark,

I've ordered a ton of stuff over the last few years from onlinemetals. They are absolutely excellent to work with. I'm excited that they'll be carying NS bar and tube.

Thanks!

Mark
