hotels for the show

I will be flying in from CA. Can you recommend a hotel close by the show? ALso how far is the center from the airport??

Take a look at the list of hotels on the program listing above. I have listed three that are within walking distance. The Westin is across the street and offeres special room rates for the show (if they still have any rooms left).

The airport is probably 20 minutes from the Convention Center. I believe there is a shuttle that runs from the airport to downtown but depending on when it runs you may wish to just take a cab.

For any of you that are race fans and would like to make this a complete vacation experience remember that you will be spittin' distance from Race City USA (Mooresville, NC). Just a short drive from Charlotte and woth the effort to tour the shop of your favorite driver. Just a reminder for any interested.
