You going to Charlotte? There are several ways to do it. I cannot explain my method in typing, I can hardly explain it in real life. Re: trim bands and inlays

Steve, if your talking about the weave and not the trim bands, the weave is one of Doc Ski's patterns, yellow tailed king fish I have got his video on weaving and boy does he explain it well. He now is a forum member give him an email. But if your interested in weaving get his video.

Steve,
Get Ken Preston's DVD. He SHOWS you how to do it and it's very easy. If you're like me, you learn way better seeing than reading. Bill in WV Re: trim bands and inlays

I'm not going to be in any booth. I will be flying down Thursday morning though. I also shouldn't be hard to find, I stand out a little.
All you have to do to start another color is make a full turn around the blank with the new color (Silver for this example) right up against the previous colored thread. (Black) - same way you start a guide wrap. Now wrap both the Silver & Black togetrher over teh Silver tag, make 1 turn, it's locked on teh blank. Place your thumb on both threads, cut teh Black thread, make 2 turns with teh Silver over teh Black. Take teh Black tag and pull it backwards underneath teh Silver that just got wrapped over it, this way there is a solid band of Silver. TRim both Silver and Black tags. THat's basically it, I do all my trim & inlays only tying off once, no need for me to use Tape - that doesnt' make me righ tor anyone else wrong - it's just how I do & they do. Billy V. - Please feel free to come by the Demo booth during the Nail Knot Session. You will be invited to demonstrate the Vivona All Thumbs Methodology on the Coonassetti Multi Service Rod Building Station. Please be advised that Purple and Gold will be substituted for black and silver. All completed thread art will be @#$%& to feed the needy. The photo rights will be reserved by this writer!
