Dose anyone on this board have any information about " Fishing Barefoot " brand of casting and spinning rods from Cabelas .
The specs. on these rods are 10lb. to 60lb line weight and 1/2oz. to 6oz. lure weight . This is the widest range line and lure weight I have ever seen on a rod . One rod to cover everything from trout to tuna ? Is this a technological breakthrough or advertizing hype ? If not , where can I purchase the blanks . THANKS! Re: Fishing Barefoot rods ?

Try Dal Barber at (919) 880-5591 or e-mail fishingbarefoot@verizon.net., Cabela's just buys the rods from Barefoot Rods and Tackle as far as I know. Some of the folks in NC really like them, there may be no blank sales just rods. Spencer Re: Fishing Barefoot rods ?

Most likely what you'll have is a rod that isn't very good at any particular thing. There is no tecnological breakthrough that's going to allow anyone to build a rod that covers every type and style of fishing.
